Enviro Surface Solutions is a privately owned and operated surfacing company helmed by long-term Sunshine Coast local, Damien Hahn.
Damien is a construction industry veteran having worked as a QBCC registered construction site supervisor for many years prior to establishing Enviro Surface Solutions.
He opened the industrial and commercial surfacing company in 2008, in Mudjimba, after discovering there was a distinct gap in the local market when it came to such businesses. What led to this discovery?
Simply – his desire to have high-quality artificial turf installed on his own private property. Pursuing his own turf installation project led him down a rabbit-hole of research, where, after much due diligence spent trying to find local artificial turf installers, he learned that the vast majority were based in either Brisbane, or on the Gold Coast. Very few actually operated locally on the Sunshine Coast back in 2008.
Damien took this discovery as a sign to further his own career and skillset, by building his own artificial surfacing company on the Sunshine Coast to fill this gap, leaving his construction supervisory role behind. And, so in 2008, Damien started Enviro Surface Solutions from scratch.
Over the years he was able to gain incredible knowledge in both artificial turf and rubber soft fall installation techniques by working side-by-side with some of the best in the industry. Today, his efforts have paid off, and his surfacing company enjoys a well-respected reputation within the local community, moving from strength to strength, and boasting a team of 4 dedicated experts who share 30 years industry experience between them.
The Enviro Surface Solutions team are all QBCC licensed and trade qualified, holding Certificate III in Landscape Construction, as well as Blue Cards.

We use QLD based Artificial Turf and Rubber Soft Fall Suppliers
While we manufacture our own custom-made surfacing solutions, we source our artificial turf and rubber soft fall materials from suppliers in Yatala, Queensland.
We use Urban Turf Solutions, a well-respected manufacturer, for our artificial turf supplies. And, we use A1 Rubber, another reputable surfacing supplier, for our rubber soft fall materials.
